Terms of Service

1. Booking and Payment:

To secure the services of our event catering cart, a non-refundable deposit of [insert amount] is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance is due on the day of the event prior to the service time.

Payment can be made through cash, debit/credit card, Venmo, PayPal or Zelle.

2. Cancellation:

In the event of cancellation, the non-refundable deposit will not be returned.

3. Menu Selection and Modifications:

The client shall provide the desired menu selection 2 weeks before the event date.

Any modifications to the menu must be communicated 14 days prior to the event.

Changes made to the menu after the specified deadline may incur additional charges.

4. Event Details:

The client is responsible for providing accurate event details, including the date, time, and location of the event.

Any changes to the event details must be communicated to us as soon as possible.

5. Liability and Insurance:

We carry liability insurance for our catering cart and staff.

We are not responsible for any damages or injuries caused by the client or their guests during the event.

6. Health and Safety:

Our catering cart operates in compliance with all health and safety regulations.

The client shall ensure that the event venue provides a safe and suitable area for our catering cart.

7. Force Majeure:

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, extreme weather), we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event.

In such cases, we will make every effort to accommodate the client's needs and find a suitable alternative.

8. Termination:

a. We reserve the right to terminate our services if any unacceptable behavior or misconduct is displayed by the client or their guests.

By booking our event catering cart, the client agrees to abide by these Terms of Service.

Payment Policy

1. Booking and Deposit:

To secure a reservation for our services, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

The deposit amount will be communicated to the customer and must be paid within a specified timeframe to confirm the booking.

The deposit ensures that we reserve the necessary resources and equipment for the event.

2. Full Payment:

The remaining balance of the total invoice amount is due on the day of the event, prior to the start of our services.

We accept various payment methods such as cash, credit/debit cards, Venmo, PayPal and Zelle.

Payment can be made directly to our designated representative present at the event.

3. Late Payments:

If full payment is not received on the day of the event, a late fee of $25 per day will be applied.

Late fees will be applied for each day the payment is delayed, starting from the day after the event.

Failure to make payment within 7 days after the event may result in legal action to recover the outstanding balance.

4. Cancellations and Refunds: *Please see our cancellation policy

The non-refundable deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the customer.

If the event is cancelled within 48 hours prior to the scheduled date, the full payment is still required.

Please note that our payment policy is essential to ensure the smooth operation of our business and to guarantee our availability for your event. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to these terms.

Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by the Customer:

If a customer needs to cancel their cotton candy order, they must notify us at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled event time.

If the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the event, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total order amount will be charged.

In case of cancellation on the day of the event or failure to notify us, the customer will be liable to pay the full amount of the order.

2. Cancellation by Sugar Sugar:

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your event due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if we believe the event or location is unsafe or unsuitable for our services.

3. Rescheduling:

If a customer needs to reschedule their event due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to accommodate the new date and time, subject to availability.

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the original event date.

A rescheduling fee may apply if the request is made within 48 hours of the original event date.

Please note that the cancellation policy helps us manage our resources and ensure the best possible service for all our customers. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Rainy Day Policy

Customer must provide a dry location for live spinning: In order to ensure the best quality and experience, we require customers to provide a dry location for live spinning of cotton candy. This can be an indoor space or a covered area that protects the cotton candy machine and keeps it dry.

If no location is available, Sugar Sugar will provide alternatives:

a) Pre-packaged party favors: In the event that the customer is unable to provide a suitable location for live spinning, we will offer pre-packaged cotton candy party favors as an alternative.

These favors can be distributed to guests and still provide a sweet treat for the occasion.

b) Cotton candy cakes: Another alternative we offer is cotton candy cakes. These are beautifully crafted cakes made with cotton candy as a decorative element. They can be enjoyed by the guests and add a touch of sweetness to the event.

rescheduling based on availability: If the customer wishes to reschedule the cotton candy service due to rain or inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate their request based on availability. We understand that weather can be unpredictable, and we want to ensure that our customers have the best experience possible.
